To ENCOUNTER God,
CONNECT to the Church and
ENGAGE our Community.
Jesus replied, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Meeting God for the first time changes the way you see everything: yourself, your family, your job, your community, even the world itself.
When we encounter God, we learn that we can have a real relationship with our Creator, a relationship that fills the hole felt in every human heart. This is why we come together as a church family every Sunday morning to encounter God through music, prayer and biblical preaching.
Mother Teresa once said, "the most terrible poverty is loneliness and the feeling of being unloved." We agree and believe God's solution for loneliness is intentional community.
We connect together through Sunday morning life groups and meaningful events so that we can build genuine friendships together, celebrate in the good days and support one another through the challenging days.
We believe a church should never neglect the community around it.
As a key part of our mission, we engage our community - locally and globally - through community service, regular financial assistance to missions and global natural disaster and poverty relief, and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Gospel of hope through which all of us are saved by grace through faith.
